Emergency Medicine physician and Critical Care Medicine fellow with expertise in acute resuscitation and shock management. My clinical focus spans the ED–ICU continuum, with particular interests in cardiac critical care, advanced hemodynamics, and mechanical circulatory support.

My training bridges Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, positioning me to care for critically ill patients throughout the ED–ICU continuum. My academic background in clinical epidemiology and evidence synthesis informs an evidence-based approach to clinical care, research, and quality improvement.
My research experience spans emergency medicine, critical care, perioperative medicine, clinical epidemiology, systematic review and meta-analysis, and outcomes research.

2015About Me
Medicine has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Both of my parents and my older brother are physicians, and I grew up seeing firsthand the dedication and responsibility the profession demands. I remain deeply grateful for the hard work and sacrifices my parents made to give me the opportunity to follow the same path. Their example continues to shape not only why I chose medicine, but also the kind of physician I hope to become.
That sense of responsibility has taken on deeper meaning through my work in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. Caring for the sickest patients is about more than medicine. In the ED and ICU, we do everything we can to help patients recover. Yet there are times when recovery is no longer possible. In those moments, it is both humbling and a profound privilege to ease suffering, preserve dignity, and support patients and their families through the end-of-life process. These experiences have also deepened my appreciation for the relationships and sources of balance that sustain me outside the hospital.
Family remains central to my life, and I stay closely connected to my family in Canada. I remain Canadian at heart and enjoy golf, exploring new places, and building a life centered around the people who matter most to me. Living and training in different communities has broadened my perspective and influenced both the physician and person I continue to become.
